Incredible summer weather with a ton of stuff to do. Bunch of breweries with great beer and booming culinary scene. Very walkable downtown area with pretty good public transportation.
Hell on earth the other 8-9 months out of the year.
Visited a ton and my best friend is from there.

Jesus, some of you are over the top. No it isn't. It's wonderful weather from May through September. That's five months. April and October average is 58. That's not hell on earth. March and November the average temp is 41. Cold yes but certainly not frigid. December through February is very cold.
So, 8-9 months of hell it is not.
