Yep. In no way does it make any sense at all that Trump would offer a quid pro quo arrangement. It's completely implausible.
Idiotic crap like this distracts from the real story, which is that Trump had decades of links to well connected Russian oligarchs, and that it is likely that they were feeding information or suggestions to the campaign.
There was almost certainly no illegal exchange. The potential corruption being investigated is that after years of profitable business ties, Trump was receptive to Russian influence and just didn't say anything about it.

Also just from a logistics standpoint, this seems like it is 100% unprovable. Which is a gold mine for a conspiracy theorist because it means they can never be proven wrong saying it.
I mean I guess Russia could offer up the tape if it existed, but why would they ever if one did exist?
So it is basically a story that can not be corroborated, can not be verified or fuly discredited, but definitely feeds those that are looking for this to be true and are willing to set their critical thinking aside to achieve it.
It is also the sort of thing that indirectly helps those she is seemingly wanting to expose by putting out there assertions of fact she can't back up and that upon even superficial examination become faulty without further verification.
