Yep-- said as much on the pod last night, but we all know this organization does everything backward

In reality, they decided last Wednesday, but still the point remains

As for the scenario where Gentry does bad and is fired 20 games in-- that to me is the worst case scenario. I'd rather fire him now. You'd just have an interim guy for the last 62 and that screams instability to Boogie

Not a fan of that scenario

I mean..duh. I didn't say I liked the scenario.

I'm just saying I think that IS the scenario.

Yeah, the thought is supposedly they want stability for Cousins. However, what happens if next year is not good? It would have been better to dump Gentry/Demps now rather than next season when Cousins is up for a contract.
