Pediatric cardiologist or any other pediatric MD.
Telecommuting. I get to sleep an hour later and no drive to work. Don't have to go find something to eat at lunch.
When lunch rolls around, I can nap.

As a farmer I can say that it feels quite fulfilling to make a good crop. Looking out across the fields at harvest is great.

Knowing you, you probably sip beer on the porch while the wife cut the grass

Building someone's dream home is pretty awesome. It's always great seeing their reaction at different phases of construction.

Working from home is the best I've experienced. Because you don't have to work from home, you can work from a park, a coffee shop, a hotel room, etc... When the weather is nice I work from my balcony.

It's gotta be the only job where spell check isn't required and it allows you to fap to OT 6s all day.

I like to keep work and home separate

I've tried, can't do it.

I work about as many hours as I would if I was working in an office setting, and still accomplish my tasks. I've done this same job from an office. I find there are more distractions (mainly people) in an office setting, than there are at my home. When I worked in an office I left every day for an hour lunch break because I needed to get out of the office. At home I find myself working through my lunch break.

Quite a bit since its a federally regulated port with three docks, 4 parking lots, a warehouse, terminal and several other buildings. Environmental paperwork alone requires a separate employee. Probably half a million customers per year come to the counter, lots of snow removal, light maintenance and wildlife encounters.
There's another lot on the other side equally as large as this one, we have 12-15 employees depending on season.
But, do get to watch whales and other wildlife.

the most fulfilling part of my current job is the training of firefighters...they truly want to learn and I know they regularly use what they have learned to save lives.
I think my most fulfilling job overall would be farming. I have a background in it, but just couldn't stand the idea of the financial volatility involved, so I chose another career path.
