Yeah, it's not like we became best friends overnight when Xi came to town.

I want so badly for the Chinese to take action against North Korea. We should plant seeds in their heads. C'mon, don't you want a chance to test all your military hardware? To get your military a little experience?

Trump deserves some credit for this IMO

The Chinese president and media basically mocked Trump after their meeting. Taking shots at him over the Syrian strikes.

Don't interrupt people when they think China is about to invade North Korea because the Chinese and American presidents just sat down and bitched at each other about trade.

Whatchu doin?

They also could be massing troops to close the border to prevent Korean refugees from flowing into China post invasion.

This was my thought.

China will have to deal with a massive humanitarian fallout.

Well when you're dick swinging about missile launches during dessert, you might expect some saber rattling in return.

Eh, that's not unusual, but China doesn't want a war with the U.S. especially not over that shithole.

N. Korea has been a solid buffer for them but as long as fatboy plays the tune they want him to play.

Not saying I necessarily disagree with you...but they've done it before.

people read too much into this, among other shite. This is posturing, nothing more. China did this exact same thing a couple years ago. China isn't going to invade anybody that is attached to the U.S. They have too much to lose not including getting their asses whooped. The fear mongering on this site is hilarious. There will no war with Russia or China no matter what the U.S. does to Syria or North Korea, period.

A long time ago when they didn't own a huge portion of our government debt and their economy wasn't joined to ours at the hip.

And it was a hell of a lot more brazen of them the first time they did it because we were the only party with nukes at that time and had demonstrated that we were willing to use them just 5 years earlier.

So you're thinking the chinese troops are going to join up with the n korean troops at the border and then walk across the Pacific Ocean and invade California?
