No he's not. He just doesn't have the common sense to separate on/off numbers and net ratings and real life.

In the 949 minutes (19.8 games) that Harden hasn't been on the floor, the Rockets has offensive rating of 110.3 and defensive rating of 104.7, a +5.3 differential.

If you extrapolate that to a whole season and use Daryl Morey's (yes your Daryl Morey) pythagorean win expectation, that would result in about 55 expected wins.

Now obviously, I realize that is overly optimistic, but it's clear that Houston is talented enough to win more than 41 games without Harden this season.
