I go there for work some.

Gilberts Chowder House - on the waterfront, not fancy, but great cheap chowder.

Duckfat - some really great Belgian fries

They have really great microbrews...I like the Thirsty Pig for food and drinks. I like Bunker Brewing Co a little outside of city and a rather new one called Lone Pine.

Walk the streets and browse, it is a great little town.

For sites to visit, Kennebunkport is about 30-40 minutes away and great clam stands down there. If you want to see old old New England, go to Old Orchard Beach which used to be popular back in the day for beach goers.

As kid from the south I am never man enough for the water there.

And oh yeah, get some ice cream up there. They are famous for it. Who knew they ate more per capita than anywhere in the uS>

Have fun

Thank you both so much for the advice - extremely helpful!

I'll be sure to show pics upon my return.

Cheers
