The Saints haven't had any luck with drafting CBs. I can see them liking a CB but waiting till #32.

If they gave up a first and third to move up for a QB in round 1 this may be the year I actually break my television

I approve of the italicization of the word "thoughts."

Thank you.

I know. I was just letting Les know he's safe to ignore him.

He knows football but his player evalution sucks arse. I respect him for not just agreeing with everyone else, but he doesn't have to be consistently wrong in doing so.

1.32 Curtis Samuel, WR/RB Ohio State

Thoughts: The Saints dip back into the deep OSU player pool again, nabbing Samuel as a guy that can make plays out of the slot & backfield, somewhat easing the loss of Brandin Cooks.

my first reaction to this was WTF!? And then I realized that this is often my reaction to actual Saints drafts....

Conclusion, Lester has nailed our exact draft.

EW what bigj?

Think Percy harvin here. Explosive threat in the short/intermediate that we've missed for a few years now

Hate the first round, love the rest.

I LOL'ed at the "if Solomon Thomas is available at 11" comment.

I don't think Thomas drops but I think there will be a lot of shake up at the last minute with QBs, Garrett bolles, and maybe a WR or 3.

Samuel looks like a great Bush-Sproles type component to this offense. I don't see #32 though. And if they clear Mixon on off field issues I prefer him. Can do a lot of the same but better potential as a real #1 RB than Samuel.

Yea with a pick 10 spots later we can afford to bring on a guy like that

Even with his issues, Mixon >>>>> Samuel at 32.

It definitely won't happen, but I'd much rather him over Samuel.
