Payton said he was in exile during the 2012 NFL draft discussions and just wanted to meet Johnny Manzielto get to know him. Payton said the meeting with Manzielwas short, but it was a good meeting. Manzielhas decent arm strength but has a lost of work to do, Payton said. Also said Manzielhas more than on-field work to do to get back.

Payton said this past season wasn't the type of season Stephone Anthony wanted. Sure he's anxious to get on the field this offseason.

Payton has a prototype of what their looking for as a pass rusher. If they look away from prototype, have to make sure the vision is right.

Funny that I got a lot of shite for saying we weren't shopping Cooks and then Payton straight up says we weren't shopping him.
Also seems like any "locker room issues" may have been straight lies feed to the media.
I will say I was dead wrong on what I thought was a good deal for Cooks and what Payton and the the rest of the teams thought was a good deal.
