You Can, make $10-15 an hour with door to door sales.
You could also make <$1/hour.

Not many people want to buy knives this way anymore.

It was easier to do these types of sales before internet.

As far as having high school age kids do it. I think it's great. Will teach them how to do a balance sheet, a sales forecast, how to manage inventory and how to deal with customers. Better than bringing home a box of chocolate "that the school can't take back", forcing the parents to buy the entire box. By the way, anyone want some frozen six month old candy bars?

nah not really, you do the same sales pitch every time and they fill out in a book what they want and it gets mailed to them
