The specific salary information of a person who works for the State of Alabama and assists clients with TANF, Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc is online and readily available for the viewing public.
The information of those clients is strictly confidential and protected beyond the point of reason. (Ie people have been fired over some very stupid BS)
There is a reasonable need for both things to occur, but the execution of it is far overblown.
