Children of the 80s - Old HBO Feature Presentation intro

When I first saw this at my house, I thought Baton Rouge was on the map and that we were rich. I had seen it at my grandparent's house in Houston. But, when I saw it in BR, I thought it was a big deal. I was 8 in '83.

Rocky III

There is an HBO bumper (think it was HBO) that I have vivid memories of, but have never found.

It was animated and a little boy was playing with a superman action figure in his room. He makes the figure fly around a ball. Then some other stuff happens that I can't remember.

It reminds me of perfecting my ability to watch a rated R movie at just the right volume that made it possible to hear if my parents were coming down the hall towards the den.

shite, do people even have rooms they call the den anymore?

Hard Bodies...and I'm not joking

I remember watching the "how they made it" special on HBO. Pretty damned involved (and expensive) for an intro on a cable network.

Saturday pizza night

Man I would pumped up for this when I was a kid.. movie time! Makes me think of Predator, or maybe Commando.
