And as for the idiot on page 1 saying she should get a murder charge, that's stupid too. Murder is done intentionally. Drinking and driving and killing someone is an accident. Just like if 2 sober people collide. The difference is one was fricked up/texting.
Drinking and driving is perfectly legal. If it was a safety concern it would be illegal and the bac wouldn't be. 08. It's a money racket, and safety is an after thought.

In Texas, on your first DWI..before a conviction, a breathalyzer is placed in your vehicle..you would think with as much of a drinking culture in Louisiana as there is, this would be the norm as well.
