I know this will be a bat signal for some of our posters but I don't give a shite. This crap is exactly what those of us against such a massive surveillance have talked about. It is just too fricking easy to use it against your political opponents. And that includes more than just people running for president. I frankly don't know why there's a single person in America who doesn't understand this. I mean are there any liberals who trust Trump or his people to keep American identities safe if they are Democrats? I seriously doubt it.
Who the frick out there at this point is actually deluded enough to think that our massive surveillance programs are remotely trustworthy?
This shite was completely predictable and was predicted while a bunch of people waved off the people making the predictions as if they were just a bunch of tin foil hat people.
And you can bet this much is true also. This shite is like cockroaches. If you fricking think the first time it occurred to someone to take advantage of the system you're out of your fricking mind

Had concerns after 9/11. Had concerns when we learned of the massive data storage facility they built. Had concerns when we learned more with the leaking. Have concerns when I posters on here defend this shite show, and they are supposedly current and former intel people. Which if they are, I'm not sure why they'd comment in threads about it, but that adds to my concern as well. They complian about Comey. A valid complaint, but in this case if you cut off that head, the beast doesn't die. It's systemic.

I certainly don't know why so many unconditionally trust a politician who said "Hillary would make a great president." Either he was lying and/or displayed inexcusably terrible judgment. Neither should warrant unconditional trust.

So let me get this straight. OP is such a trump fanboy that, he's not upset about him and his team colluded with Russia, he's pissed that the intelligence community were monitoring foreign powers and happened to catch those foreign powers colluding with Trump's people.

You do understand , perhaps not, that the intelligence community is here to protect America. They do that put party over country they put America and it's protection first. If you were paying attention the past 15 yrs you would have lost all confidence in the IC. They let Sandy Berger walk after destroying documents he stole from the National Archives, follow that up with Clapper lying his arse of about not collecting metadata on all Americans.
Then the topper is Comey testifying about all the criminal BS Hilldawg pulled with destruction of evidence, using an unsecured email server, sending and receiving classified emails on a personal server, not investigating the Clinton Foundation Pay for Play scam and then declaring the "chosen one" committed no crimes. I think you know how much confidence I have in the IC.
