I shattered my favorite daily wear wristwatch. I'd owned it for about 27 years. I'd love to find an exact duplicate replacement. It was a Seiko 7f22-5019. Hell, I don't even know how to post a pic. I tried uploading one to photobucket - failed.
I've looked on E-bay but I was wondering whether there might be some specific site that specializes such things. Any help?

Like this?

That's an incredible watch that I never knew existed. My new thing is Japanese luxury: land cruisers, kamakura shirts, Grand Seikos...

Are there custom watch makers? That won't be outrageous? It's just the crystal that is damaged? Is sapphire crystal impossible to work with?

Good luck though.

You can get a new crystal. What do you mean by shattered?

You might be able to send it to seiko and have it repaired. Not sure what it would cost or how long it would take. I'd contact them and check if that's an option

LINK

Just dropped one in the mail yesterday for repair. I'd give it a shot given that it was a gift.
