It comes with a 20 PSI regulator, so no.
I hear that propane tanks for double jets often freeze up. I know one solution is to leave the tank in a shallow tub of water while you have the burner going.

Or you can just get a 10gal tank and there are no issues. Brought my double burner (same one talked about above) to a buddy's house and his 5gal tank froze up. I use my 10gal anytime I boil with my double burner and it works fine. I also use the regulator that came with it. That sum bitch is loud when it's wide open, but water boils in no time.
