My post was not a shot at old people lol. Let me rephrase. Don's is for people who haven't tasted quality seafood. I guess that's because I grew up in New Orleans where Don's is not even considered when looking for a decent seafood restaurant.

To say the food there is not decent is ridiculous. Don's is a typical old local family seafood restaurant. It's not a place to go for creative fare. If you're looking for good fried shrimp, oysters, gumbo, bisque, oysters or shrimp en brochette, typical boiled seafood salad, seafood stuffed eggplant, seafood platters and the like, then it's fine.
I don't know how it would get all the business it gets if it wasn't decent because it's not cheap though the lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Every time I'm there to pick up the frozen bisque, the place is crowded usually with some folks sitting on that bench in the lobby area, waiting.
