The one here in Tuscaloosa is $5 for a "flow & go" class. A 5 class pack is $20. A 6 month unlimited is $375 and a year of yoga/pilates is $600. If chain gyms offered this as a part of their package they'd make a killing.

Devices to protect the studio from chemtrail debris are expensive.

I'd pay that to sit in the back and watch hot chicks do downward dog.

Most normal gym memberships are 40-60 bucks a month. That's right on par with 600 dollars a year.

Because it's trendy. Period. My daughter is a yoga instructor in Los Angeles, and I can tell you that you are gonna get set back some jack to take classes in her studio. And for what? You bring your own mat. And that's all the equipment needed. I, too, don't get it.

Women flock to them.
Women know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

That sounds pretty cheap. My wife pays $109/month for unlimited yoga and pilates (w/o access to the expensive machine thingy) classes.

I think pay as you go classes are $18/class.

This is now officially a yoga pants thread. Thread has been hijacked. Please add NSFW to the thread title.

my club, a chain, offers yoga class for no additional charge. in addition, we have a giant techno-screen in the big enclosed workout area. A computer drives programming onto the screen. You can go in by yourself or with a workout partner or trainer and select from 8 or 10 programs, including yoga. You do it with the screen person if you can't make it to the in person classes.

ANYTIME fitness. They are one of a few brands my BC/BS PPO pays part of my membership for. I can go to any of them around the nation. I have a "fob" which I put up to the keyless lock on the door. Some brands, I have to sign in.
Some I just use the fob.

dude... that's cheap as frick. bikram anywhere is at least 15 for a drop in and 100+/month on a payment plan.

most gyms do offer yoga, but only a few get it right with good teachers and intensity.

Thank you castorinho for saving this abortion of a thread.

My gym offers yoga and cross fit packages. There's one lady that does the yoga classes and she's supposedly amazing. She's in her mid 60s and a little fruity, but her classes are always full.
