Eh, different strokes for different folks.

It's certainly a different fishing. When I sold my flats boat, I got a PA12. It was different and actually a lot easier sometimes to catch reds. They never spooked. But if they weren't there that day, it sacked.

I will say it wasn't my cup of tea. I sold my yak after about 9 months. I paid 2700 all in and sold for 2200. Can't believe they are up to 3500 now. I would get a gheenoe if I had to do it again. I could actually launch my flats boat and be on the water alone faster than getting my yak set up and dragged to the water (I admit I'm not a minimalist, so that. Was an issue).

This is the first ear since I've moved that I'm really getting the itch to go sight fish again (to the point of wanting my own boat). Just booked a trip for bone fish and tarpon in Islamorada. May have to look up the gheenoe again and learn Texas redfishing.

So Masseys stopped carrying FeelFree. I was just in there and asked them why and the girl said that they were the only ones made overseas and they were having issues with boats splitting at seams. After chatting with her I'm strongly leaning towards the Jackson Coosa FD. The flex drive sounds like it has a lot of advantages. I won't be able to get one probably until July or August if I don't preorder though and I'm not ordering anything without demoing first.
