Devin McCourty, Gronk, Hernandez, Gilmore, adalious Thomas, Logan mankins, Moss in 08, Revis, are just off the top of my head examples of free agents and home grown talents that have gotten top of the market deals from the pats the past decade

Also the Pats have never had this much cap flexibility. That plays a huge part

and a lot of those contracts were value:production.

Gronk was a top 2 TE and arguably a top 5 offensive threat that costed 9mil a year. Hernandez had top 5-10 TE potential and produced like a solid #2 WR while getting paid similarly. Other comparable offensive weapons were getting paid a lot more.

Mankins was top 3 lineman getting paid big guard money, then the second his production dipped and the value wasn't there, he was flipped

you guys pay for production and value, but when its not there BB lets them go or flips them. Gronk as a dominating WR gets paid 15mil, but Gronk as a top 2 TE only gets paid 10mil. that's the kind of value he keeps.

Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins combine for 29.1mil annually, that is their market as they are both top 5 at their position, but there is no value in that at all.
