For fans of urban fantasy like The Dresden Files or the Peter Grant series, check out Kevin Hearn's Iron Druid Chronicles. I picked up the first book a couple of days ago and am burning through it like I would a Dresden book. Good pacing, the main character is a lot of fun, his decisions make sense (as much sense as you can have when your lawyers are a vampire and a pack of werewolves) and the author really has a good time with the Celtic lore and mythos.

Full disclosure: I'm a biiiig fan of the Dresden series so comparing anything to it favorably is about the highest praise I can give.

I've listened to some of the audiobooks, and Dresden is a good comparison. It's also an interesting take on celtic mythology, and the concept that various deity groups can interact with each other.

Solid series except the last book was lacking imo. Audiobooks are narrated really well

I read the first one and then moved on. Is the rest of the series better?

Finally got around to starting these, Bard. Funnier than Dresden, IMO. But yea, they are essentially the same. And that's not bad at all. Finishing book 2 now.
