Just getting back from Houston. Despite going 1-2, I had a great time at the classic. Very nice stadium. We didn't play out best, but it's early and at least we were able to evaluate our team against some quality opponents. TCU is legit, but we're not that far behind. I like our chances at making it back to the CWS.

Shitty Camera, shitty Umpires, Shitty Announcers, the Non-stop talk about the goodwill the Shriners do (and they do). These broadcast were 10 times worse then the old Jefferson Pilot 11:30 games back in the 80's and 90's. I honestly felt so bad at watching these commercials with the sick kids, that I actually did not care to lose. I am fricking glad its over.

I agree: just watch the Ernie Johnson Story E:60 . That will put sports in perspective.

It was nice but it lacked a college atmosphere and tradition, just a major league park with colleges playing in it, it didn't feel special just blah

man, you sure are uber critical. I thought It was a great tournament. the production itself could have been better but it was adequate. even tho LSU lost 2 of 3, I very much enjoyed watching the games.

I had a good time. I was impressed with how nice the stadium is to be almost 20 years old.

I won't be bitching over food prices at the box anytime soon. That was ridiculous. We made them pay on bottomless popcorn though.

The real highlight of my weekend was my brother smuggled in a nestle water bottle of crown in his drawers. When he sat down the whole thing busted and soaked him. I laughed my arse off. He said his nuts were on fire. Haha

To the guy that said there wasn't a college atmosphere I have no idea what you are talking about the atmosphere was great.

Alec the in game reporter has more talent than half the idiots I've seen on tv.

I always think that I am a good guy, but then people like Ernie Johnson put me in my place. That was a good piece.

We had a hell of a time despite the outcome of the games. We drank too much and walked across the street after the game to grab some fire arse BBQ at Jackson Street BBQ.

Shitty Camera, shitty Umpires,

That was only the Friday game. Both were fine Saturday and Sunday. I'm happy it was on TV. shite in 96 the first game LSU played in the College World Series was tape delayed for like 3 hours.
