I don't know. I see the likelihood of such a thing as vanishingly small to begin with. As would be the likelihood of us not annihilating them without raising a sweat. Seems like a very poor use of resources, and we've already got far too much of that to begin with.

Rampant poor use of resources is a pretty poor justification for even more of it.
