After reading that incoherant diatribe I don't think you're in a position to question anyone's intelligence or lack thereof.

Its the truth.

The bulk of the club are frick-ups and wannabes with a small number of actual hardcore guys.

This is interesting. Louisiana is a solid red & gold state. But you're seeing OL's rolling through. This could mean one of two things.

1. The Bandidos and Outlaws are forming an alliance of sorts. This could complicate matters.

Or

2. The crackdown by the Feds against the Bandidos has been effective enough to make Louisiana look up for grabs and the Outlaws are making a move. This could really complicate matters.

Like I have stated in another thread my brother is retired and rides but isn't part of a club. He tells me all this stuff about colors and patches and you can't wear this here or there or whatever. I have zero interest in such things. I have passed these guys on the highway before and I have as much interest in them as I am sure they have in me which is zero. They can do their thing and I will do mine. That being said I don't fear these guys and their patches and colors and I certainly am not going to show them anymore respect and courtesy than I am any other person I encounter on a daily basis. Your above quote is why some on here aren't taking you seriously. I wish you could remove yourself from the bike culture for a minute and read that statement. I am not saying its not true, but it sounds crazy to a outsider. Just change up the names of the groups ( Bandidos and Outlaws ) and insert anything you want and you will see what I am talking about.

Being the dominate club. Getting a say so in who can and can't operate as a club in that state or who can or can't wear their it's when passing through a state. I'm not saying it's right or that I agree or disagree with it. I'm just saying that's how it is.

During the boom years of the Haynesville shale there was a big Iron Horseman presence around Shreveport but they didn't wear their colors except for soecial occasions. (Memorial Day-weekend, for example.) A couple of welders from Indiana worked for me for years, I still stay in touch. They're cool guys but they're both well into their 60s. They might have been hell once upon a time.

I was simply answering someone's question. I'm not personally a 1%er and have never professed to be one.

As for you not being afraid of whatever, I don't care and frankly don't see why you brought it up as it has nothing to do with the conversation.

As for "removing myself from the bike culture for a moment", you do realize your posting in a thread about Bikers, right? It's the subject the OP chose to discuss here. If you don't like the subject and have no interest in the subject then why waste your time positng in this thread?

Sadly this is happening to a lot of the old school clubs. A prime example is "In Country Vietnam Vets MC". They have two requirements to join, (1) you own an American made motorcycle and (2) you served in Vietnam. Well this means their youngest members are getting into their 60s & 70s now. Great group of guys but they're starting to go extinct as an active club.

Better yet what do they get by claiming something.

I'm not trying to troll Darth, but it seems like you get to dictate how other grown men dress when they're in your territory.

The requirements for my MC are that you be a White Hispanic, be bilingual, ride a US hog, wear colors and patches at all times, and hate rapists.

That's basically what it boils down to. Some say that it "allegedly" means control of the sale and distribution of certain consumer products in that area as well. But that aspect of it is none of my business.

And for the record, my old club was non-territorial. We were not interested in claiming anything other than our clubhouse. And the organization I'm a member of now is likewise non-territorial.

I've personally never agreed with the whole concept of one club "owning" a territory. From what I've seen it only leads to trouble between clubs.
