Honestly the best thing about Vue/DTV now is that when the cable/satellite company calls your bluff on cancelling you have something to watch right away.

We did Vue for 3 months then got the new customer pricing again from dish

Agree 100%. Spectrum (formerly time warner) just upped my rate so I shopped all my options, including streaming. By far the 2 best values would have been bundles from att including internet and either direct tv or uverse. I went with a 2 year locked rate of $90/month internet and mid tier directv package with whole home dvr, NFL Sunday ticket and a $300 rebate. For $90 I could have got internet with a streaming service with 50-100 less channels and no rebate. It was a no brainer.

In 2 years if directv jacks up my rate too much, I'll go back to spectrum on their new customer bundle pricing.

For anyone that lives in an area where you have at least 2 national provider options, I don't see how a streaming service makes sense. When u buy internet a la carte the price is significantly higher than if it's bundled.
