I jumped on the PlayStation Vue train last March, when they cut about 10 channels without notice coupled with the 3 month prepaid deal DTVN was offering, I switched over this past November...March 7th marks the end of the prepaid 3 months and I have decided to jump back to Directv.

Error messages, no DVR, no 72 hour rewind, cut resolution to 480p and 30fps for a long while, chunks of the guide missing randomly, switching channels only to switch you to either A&E or that weather station(real head scratcher) and the sensitivity of the Apple TV remote...it all gives me heartburn and I'm throwing in the towel.

ATT recently ran fiber in my hood, so for $145 a month I'm getting 1gb internet, and directv's 2nd highest package. This includes their Genie and 3 minis...price locked in for 24 months. Of course I get the 1 year of Sunday Ticket and they threw in $200 worth of Visa gift cards. This is only $45 more than what I would be paying for 150 Mbps cox internet with DTVN.

Whatever price you're paying will double within 12 months.

I guess that we've been really lucky with DTVN... Haven't had any problems.

I almost went and canceled and went to UVerse but I'm holding out a tad longer. I don't want to run back to a 2 year contract.

YouTube unplugged and Hulu are right around the corner

Same here leaving DTVN to go back to Vue.

Lack of DVR is a deal breaker.

I don't watch enough TV to spend $150 a month on the package. In two years, you will be paying $225.

The guide issue is a pain when its down but just go to the channel next to the one you want to watch and swipe. The only error message I get is when I first log in. That is a non issue because Im going to the guide first anyway.
I guess Im in the minority here but Ive had very few issues with streaming content on a daily basis. The lack of on demand and rewind does not bother me one bit. I have Kodi for that.

This is a bit aggravating I find. Even with adjusting the settings. I use a harmony remote and it works great. So much easier to navigate.

They recently ran fiber to my subdivision also and I'm out of contract and currently paying $145 for a middle of the road DTV package (this includes 8 TV's) and $90 for Cox 100 Mbps. What # did you call to get that deal? I've called both DTV and ATT and asked for a 1g fiber + DTV bundle, but no one seems to be able to quote a bundle with 1g, they try to sell me UVerse 45 mbps.
