Those are staggering numbers...wouldn't have guessed. The common observer has very little means to track it other than seeing comments etc on articles.

love podcasts for commutes/travel, going for a run, or cooking/chores around the house.
sometimes hard to focus on them. especially if im at home and can play on computer, phone, etc. and i only go at 1.3x speed. some people go at 2x speed---
but ones with good discussion are great. definitely have some immediate listens when they come out.
all about the itunes ratings, promo codes, and trending downloads. all the ones that are trying to make money constantly push those things during the pods
