I truly believe they would give teams fits next year with the right system and coach but sadly I think Blakeney will leave after this season.

Crying shame that 2 of those guys have a legit shot of earning a paycheck for playing hoops and Jones gives us this product

Blakeney would be foolish to leave after this year. He could be a lottery pick if he stays another year and gets some real coaching after JJ gets canned.

Blakeney is gone. Will be a 2nd round pick and who in the world would blame him for leaving.

Can't blame him for leaving honestly, but he could improve his stock a shite load if he stayed. He's just too raw right now.

Blakeney will never ever come back and I would not blame him. He could have been making money over seas this season already enjoying life instead of playing for this miserable team and coach

Agree this team is full of players with offensive skills. This years offensive production would rank in the top 3 of all the years Brady coached. If we make a good hire we can be right back in the mix as soon as next season.

If we keep Coach Jones, they will improve even more. This is just a down year. I think tonight's close game against a more talented Ga. team will also result in at least two victories in the SEC tournament.

This is a down year because the coaching staff is letting the players down. They don't hold anyone accountable on defense. There is offensive talent but there is no structure. They don't run any sets. That's why the play late with LSU up one with the ball was doomed. LSU didn't know what the hell they were running out of a timeout! Sims apparently wasn't supposed to set a ball screen then missed whiffed on the screen for Blakeney. A hurried, off-balanced 3 can't be the shot you get there. That's coaching.

The next coach will win with these players if they make the right hire.

There's talent on this team for sure. We lost a lot of players from last year, but still weak in the same area. Outside of drawing up plays and creating on the fly, having depth at guard can't overcome the weakness we have with big men. Victor would've been an absolute game changer, and remember last year when Simmons and victor had to sit we'd struggle mightily. Bridgewater scored points today, so kudos to that man.

Have to be able to compete no matter what 5 are on the floor, or at least adjust when in foul trouble to try and overcome mismatches. Easier said than done obviously. Just hard to watch sometimes, but at least they still came to play, you've got to give em that.

What about the weave we run where the defense hard hedges when our big comes up to set the pick, traps the ball and forces a turnover half the time?

I honestly feel so bad for Blakeney. I feel like Johnny duped him into coming here and has only given him shite tier coaching and no postseason experience.

IF Blakeney had gone to Kentucky, FSU, or Louisville who all offered him, he'd be looking at a late lottery pick or so this year.

This may well be the most irrational post in Rant history.

I hope it was sarcasm
