Go to Varsity or any type of specialized running shoe store. Let them do the figuring.

Or you can take the whole "less is best" and wear ur most worn out shoes or barefoot it.

I don't fully believe in "fitting" for shoes. But I do agree with going to a shop like this. Especially Varsity...I've had good experience there. When I say I don't believe in fitting, I mean I don't think you can let them just pick your shoe. All you can do is lean on their knowledge. You have to realize you don't like something (like a narrow toe box) and they'll know what shoes might fix that and makes the process go faster. They can't just watch you run and say these are your perfect shoes. It will take several pair to find what you like. And I mean buying several pair and running for a month in them. It's why I don't think anyone can give good running shoe advice to someone else.
