Lots of times you get horrible decisions made when you base athletic decision on principal votes. Most of them care very little about athletics and even less about baseball.

Anyone can see that the playoff format in almost every aspect, makes no sense

some 2 out of 3 is better than none...... even when my son's team won game 1 but later got eliminated after dropping games 2 and 3.

some 2 out 3 is better than one and done the whole way through

2 out of 3 can't happen because there are 48 teams...Dear Lord why are there 48 teams at "State"...My question is, why must the state tournament be held in Sulphur? Yes they do have a large capacity. That capacity is worthless though considering there isn't a single good seat in the house. Massive poles block your view at every angle. It's a terrible place to watch a baseball game. I was very disappointed in that regard.

2 out of 3 might be "better", but there is no argument that it is not fair and balanced in determining a champion.

Actual champions would change simply by arbitrarily changing the rounds where best of 3 are played.

It must be consistent to hold any validity.

They could reduce number of playoff teams and play best of 3 to determine a true champion, but we all know what the driving force is.

Money.

I had an issue that needed attention earlier this year and was given names and numbers to LHSAA. I called 2 days straight all day and not one person out of 8 different numbers I called even had a voicemail/answering machine. No receptionist/secretary.

They are not in a hurry to help or answer any questions, I can assure you that.
