Figured I'd take a shot here on the MB....

Anyone have any idea what the going rate is to trim out a new home in the BR area? Just talking labor. Baseboard, crown molding, door installation. No painting just install.

Looking for a price per sq foot...

Trim is usually charged per the Linear foot. Rough estimate for labor is $1/lin. ft, but I wouldn't be surprised if you find it cheaper than that.

eta: This assumes 5-1/4" MDF Crown & Base.

Can vary greatly on size of crown, casings, & baseboards. MDF vs Wood will also affect $

Depends on many variables. Are you including hanging cabinets? Cased windows or drywall return?

There is lots more than crown and base. Shelving, clothing rods in closets, towel bars and TP dispensers, Jamestown cap window treatments, hang and cut all doors, door hardware, cabinet hardware, stairs, etc, etc,

Labor only on doors and trim will run you $1.50/sf of the total house.

A lot of people will do per LF as well, I am not sure what that going rate is.
