Things you can't do without a state issued ID

I lost my license yesterday and by happenstance I've already had to scratch off two errands off of my to do list.
1. Return something to Walmart without a receipt
2. Get a prescription filled
Let's start making a list of things you can't do without having to at least pay the man $18.
I know you can't pawn something without an ID. What else ya got?
ETA: let's keep it to stuff you might do in an average day. I'm not interested in "purchasing dynamite"
ETA:
Purchase alcohol
Drive a car
Enroll in college
Get a TWIC card
Get a library card
Get a passport
Board an airplane
Work in an industrial or port facility
Join the military
Open a bank account
Access state or federal office buildings
Purchase a firearm (from a business)
Rent a car
Check into a hotel
Fly domestically (basically with this, the hotel thing, and the rental car thing, you can't fricking take a vacation)
Take a vacation
Get anything notarized
Go to a casino

Maybe you should be focused on being less trashy rather than starting threads.

Check into a hotel. They almost always ask for ID.

In the state of LA you can vote but it's not guaranteed to count.
However, literature is posted at each polling station saying that you can get a free voter ID card at the DMV. That's a lie. I checked it out myself.
So, technically you can vote, but practically you can't.

Interesting. I didn't know this.

No. Farthest I've ever been was Jamaica and at the time you didn't need a passport. That changed shortly after.

Receive medical care
Not if that care requires self administered daily medication (also known as a prescription)

I mean... You can physically get in a car and drive it. But if you get pulled over it's not going to be great for you.

Some of these are ridiculous. I'm wondering how many of these are state law and how many are corporate policy.
Either way we are making quite a state for ourselves.

I'm not sure. I would bet it depends on what assistance you are talking about.
I would highly doubt it.

Unsurprisingly (or perhaps surprisingly) most Americans don't have a passport.
