Yeah you can hit up the Pub, Nola, and Courtyard Brewery in three hours. They are all pretty close.
Courtyard brews some unique good stuff and then has some other out of state interesting pours in tap.

Well if y'all are more of beer guys y'all would rather Ave Pub (24hr) which is regarded as one of the better offerings in the region (was several years ago), and within short Uber rides you have Urban South, Nola, Courtyard brewery's.... I'm more of a whisky bourbon guy that's why I suggested Barrel proof.
Maybe check out Tchop Yard
Eta: and I live close enough to all those places that I could walk over and check knuckles if needed be.... we don't have any Sonics in Nola though
