If anything, you'll find people who think the military should scale back out of NATO entirely, or at least remove our bases from there.

I doubt the Left has much opinion on it at all. The Right is all for getting the money to pay for these things; Libertarians all about getting our bases and soldiers back on American soil.

If an American military base in Germany is unable to pay for all of its operating costs with German funds, it shouldn't be there in the first place. I'm not saying Germany should pay for our planes, but they should pay for our fuel. And reimburse us for the salaries of the men and women who fly them, maintain them, etc.
