In case you missed the news Disney has cut ties with PewDiePie today. Following that, YouTube cancelled his show and removed his channel from their ad program.

Maybe this is his way out with out officially quitting. Like " hey I don't owe you anything for quitting if you fire me. " Seems as if he has had some beef with YouTube for awhile now.
