I'm in the initial planning phase of kicking around the idea of possibly, one day, riding the Transamerica Trail. https://www.transamtrail.com/ Coast to coast-ish on the dirt.

I know a guy who did it and me and a buddy are looking to do it before we get too old. We might take a couple of years to complete though.

It's a great trail but Sam has watered down some of the trails around CO. The expert only sections in Utah are for real. I ran the TAT on my XR650L. Consider your bikes accordingly. Consider the CDR also (S-N trail from NM to Banff, AB) or one of the many BDR's

I'm knocking out the new NVBDR and IDBDR this summer.
