If Breitbart posted a screenshot from Late Show, no one would give a frick. The Late Show segment is completely benign.

You guys saw his head on a pike and jerked your knees immediately without regard to the Late Show logo in the corner of the image. You apparently didn't read the NY Times article either.

It's almost like... context is important?

I think the point is the NY times doesn't provide any. Nobody cares about the skit. Posting that pic with that tag line actually removes the comedic context.
