I leave for Dublin on the 23rd of this month. Definitely doing the Greystones/Bray walk (weather permitting) mentioned upthread, and Howth has a similar cliff walk w/views out out to sea if you like that sort of thing. This walking guide: LINK
has some good stuff in it.
We will NOT be renting a car, due to the time of year (early sunsets means too much night driving), left side driving, and the pace of the trip....we will find plenty to occupy our time without needing a car. My goal isn't to cover the entire island, but rather to focus on Dublin/surrounds.
I booked a 2.5 hr food walking tour of Dublin through LINK / which focuses on Irish food producers/purveyors. Looking forward to checking out traditional cheeses, bread, etc.
