The DNC and the media's unending gotcha attempts are a huge factor in creating the momentum that won Trump the election. When continuous untruths and nefarious attempts by the DNC to paint Trump as a violent, racist, anti Semitic misogynist were exposed, it motivated not only Trump supporters but people who don't believe in dirty politics, to get out and vote against the obviously corrupt political machine. As these efforts by the extreme Left continue, so does Trump's popularity continue to climb, again, not only by the Trump supporters, but also people who are increasingly disenchanted by the dishonest media. and the underhanded tactics employed by the extreme Left.

The problem is politicians saying what they think we want to hear to get elected and then, moral high horsing once elected and voting and debating on ridiculous wedge issues like trans bathrooms at Target to get themselves re-elected.
