I'm in Oil.
I am not an expert in the field, but I would certainly focus on cleaner renewable energies such as wind and things of that ilk.
We are a long way off from being independent of fossil fuels and pollutants but it's not that far fetched to start moving heavily into renewable resources.
Your problem is you absolutely feel you have an answer and solution to everything regardless of how little you actually know. You're a kid barely out of college you don't know shite about frick.

Wake me up when wind and solar can power the trucking and airline industry
Right now electric cars(which are still ultimately powered by coal and nuclear plants) are tin cans that can only go like 120 miles on a single charge
