I ONLY travel alone. You're missing out on a lot of self reflection and growth if you are relying on someone else.

You are forced out of your comfort zone and will meet people you never would have had you been with someone else.

Obviously if you are married or something this isn't practical but for a single person just do it.

Agreed, I really enjoy traveling alone, went on a solo trip this summer up to St. Louis for a soccer game, ended up making some really cool new friends who I still keep in touch with (who were also fans of the same team I support)

Its my life long dream to take a vacation alone. Ive never heard one bad thing about people who do it.

Im a history buff and would love being on my own schedule and spending a few days in and around the DC area touring places and Civil War battle sites.

Eat when i want, drink when i want, go where i want. Heaven
