A Masters spokeswoman said in an email that the company is ending shipments to the U.S. “in compliance with U.S. FDA regulations,” which prohibit drug importation except under certain circumstances, such as when a drug isn’t available in the U.S.

Current US regulations are that I can import a drug that isn't approved for sale in the US but once it's approved for sale in the US I can no longer import it? That makes no sense at all.

It's the government; a lack of sense is not only expected, it seems to be mandated.

Unfortunately, the Trump phenomenon has revealed that not only does the left love that nonsensical government exerting it's authority, but apparently so do many on the right.

Now you see why the drug companies love the FDA.

This company can get $1600 for their drug in Great Britain but $89000 in the US once the FDA prohibits it's importation and insurance companies are mandated to pay for it.

Anybody that supports this is crazy.
