They are good stocks from all reports, but they do tend to be on the heavier side.

You really need to find a place that you can get your hands on them. The palm swells and what not are all a little different and the texture of the stocks is different. McMillans are awesome but I didn't like the palm swell for my hands. The BCs were better fit for me but the texture felt cheap (at least to me). The Manners was perfect for me but twice as expensive as the HS. The texture on the HS (while still not perfect in my opinion, I really liked the smoother / less gritty feel of the Manners and McMillans) was better than the BC and the palm felt great, so I went with the HS stock.
