You called them and asked? I understand if they didn't stock it, but to quit all together.

I don't know your budget, but you could see if they would sell you a gat that wasn't inletted yet and send it to a gunsmith to inlet.

Other options:
McMillan
Grayboe(owned by mcmillan, cheaper)
HS precision
B&C
Stockys

And then the million different chassis available

Emailed them about wait time.

They told me they stopped 1.5 years ago. It is too hard to get lined up with great precision without all metal parts on hand. Which is too much inventory and tracking. They are trying to streamline production and Savage, Browning and some other rifles dont fit their plans.

They prefer the true custom actions like Defiant, BAT, etc

Stockade Stocks might be my answer.

I forgot to mention that I am Left Handed. That complicates things.

Stockade specializes in savage actions (short or long) and makes most models in lefty!
