I don't know. But I'm sure there are more than a few people out there who wouldn't exactly shed a tear if he met an untimely demise, if you know what I mean. He fricked over a lot of folks.

For those that were conned by this guy. What made you chose him? His fake persona that he was a christian man? When you checked references, did he supply a list of his buddies that would lie and say they did a great job? Was he against hiring illegals and that pursuaded many to go with him?

I can't believe he conned this many people who most likely wont see their homes completely rebuilt for another year at most before the litigation is taken care of.

When we walked into our destroyed home and didn't know where to even begin a friend called. He said he hired CCC and had a demo crew there within 4 hours and was already finished with the demo with dehumidifiers in place. A quick internet search showed he had a legit business, nice web site, BBB A+ rating and no bad reviews. When we called they told us they specialize in disaster recovery and handling insurence claims. Their exact words were "pay your small deductible and start picking out paint colors." They also told us that the deductible would be the only out of pocket money we will spent and they would get the most out of our insurence because of their expertise in handling the supplement process. They had some there immediately and within 24 hours my house was gutted with fans and dehumidifiers running. Didn't know he was charging $1,800 a day for the dehumidifiers until after the fact.

the vast majority of ordinary people do not personally know a contractor nor will ever have a need for one. the CCC website is indeed very nice, and over the years he has without question delivered multiple residential and commercial projects legitimately

my website sucks compared to his
by all appearances he at least at one time had a real, legitimate, thriving contracting business. that's why i just do not understand, with all the money to be made honestly, he did this on such a large scale

one of the people he scammed is one of my commercial clients...they are LOADED. their house is 3x the size of mine and 10x as nice...he could have made a killing fixing it right. instead, he demoed and split, and stole their insurance money

i really would like to hear an explanation

ETA: we made a TON of money off flood repair/reconstruction, but we got our clients back into their businesses

WOW! So he did business the right way then decided to get greedy and cheat everyone?

What did his past references say when people called them about his work?

This guy had to cheat many along the way over the years and was able to keep his A+ rating with the BBB and skirt the law.
