One of the toughest questions Cruz received was read by a woman named Carol Hardaway, who asked Cruz: I have multiple sclerosis but could not afford insurance – without the treatment or medications i need, i had problems with walking, with my speech, and my vision. When the affordable care act was passed I moved from our home state of Texas because they refused to expand Medicaid to Maryland and within 2 weeks I started receiving treatments through Medicaid and am now well enough to work as a substitute teacher.
quote:
Senator Cruz, can you promise me that you and the Republican leaders in congress will have – actually have a replacement plan in place for people like me who depend on their Medicaid? In other words, I like my coverage, can I keep it?
quote:
That question has been receiving a lot of attention, not because of the exchange that followed, but because of the visible header on the email she was reading from. As the Gateway Pundit found, the email is from a Gmail account as you can see from the top of the paper. The subject line reads “Your Question,” as the two photographs below show.

After what they did in the Presidential debates this should not surprise anyone

In response to the possibility of CNN faking the debate, we'll take a photo and make up what we think is significant about it and then put that on the internet as factual!

Probably a nothing-burger, but I would like to see CNN respond.

The other thread wasn't even halfway down the first page.

They'll just lie about it.

This picture isn't conclusive. Show me the text of the email then we'll get somewhere. It could be intended to harm Cruz, could not. CNN isn't going to let some random person take the microphone and ask whatever the hell they want. There is obviously some form of vetting.

So many conspiracy theories. So little time.

Exactly, I don't put it past CNN to rework the question in an anti-Cruz way and give it back to her.
But for some right wing blog to cry about fake news and then use this to claim there were "actors" and that CNN provided the questions is hilarious.

The only response to this that I've seen so far is:
> The woman emailed her question to CNN for approval (which itself is disappointing) with the title 'my question'
> CNN took the time to go to her email and when responding, change the title to 'your question' so she would know it wasn't CNN asking her a question back.

So you are saying Cruz had a planted question in the audience?

I'm not sure you know what conspiracy theory means.

Probably just screened their questioned, typed them and asked them to read them so it's clear..
easy to get nervous, plus they don't want someone hijacking the event.

This is red pill reality...CNN issued her a question...
It is right there...they have been busted faking news, creating reality, coordinating with political entities...
Keep living in blue pill land, that's cool, but this isn't a conspiracy THEORY, it's just a conspiracy, plain and simple.

I would hope they had communicated with her before allowing her to ask anything she wanted to on live TV
