The problem is Sessions doesn't think what he did that caused him to be rejected in 1986 were mistakes. I think people can change, and I'm sure in many ways Sessions has changed. But he has yet to admit some of the things he was accused of doing were wrong, nor has he apologized for them. He either denies them happening or claims they were taken out of context.

Sounds like he's not admitting to what he's being accused of, which you'd think he would do if he feels the same way now as he's accused of feeling 30+ years ago. Either he never did what he was accused of or he's changed his tune, from what it sounds like. Either way, there shouldn't be an issue now, right?
