But didn't you get like 90% of that with T Jones? Or, couldn't you if you use him properly? Why give up an asset for a slightly better version (maybe) of the same guy?

Yes, Jones is giving us about 80-90% of what Okafor can now. However, he is on a one year deal and I am assuming will cost more than Okafor going forward. Okafor is younger and cheaper with higher upside at this point. If we can dump Ajinca and only costs a lottery protected pick in 2018, then I wouldn't hate it.

I think Teddy brings up a good point. What is the direction of this team? My initial thoughts when I heard the rumors yesterday were, why in the hell do we go after a traditional 5 when it appears we have committed to the small ball style of play? If this move is part of a bigger plan that makes sense then I would be okay with it. However, this administration has shown nothing to make me, or anyone else, confident.
