While I don't have as much heartburn with your OL picks the issue is we all understand that picking a center could result in a more talented guard get slid into his spot....it's the same as you move from guard to tackle as they slide over too if they can't see early PT on the edges...but that's the rules we agree to...if you don't want your center to get caught in the wash then don't pick him #22....use your high pick on a stud like the IMG kid. Again if you can find one site that has them listed at that position or an article from the school he'll that's good enough...but picking all Tackles which tend to be the better OL is like picking all CB in a weak safety class then just saying ahhh who knows where they will play. Either way no players were sniped from me but it's just in poor taste imo.

Fair enough. I just think picking a Center that has next to no chance to start (there are only so many OCs that are even rated anyways, let alone highly enough to warrant a pick) vs picking an OT late to fill that spot shouldn't be that big of a deal. If I made all OT picks in the fist 10 rounds, fair enough, as those guys are much more likely to be locked in as OTs, but a guy that's maybe the 3rd best OT on his own team's recruiting class is likely to see time elsewhere.

Anywho, I try to balance my OL with some projected Interior and Exterior guys, but don't get too caught up with specific position... If they have upside as possible tackles, fine...

To take your example though, there were times last year where I saw CBs slotted at Safety... it happens. Hell, Deangelo Gibbs was rated as a CB recruit for most of his HS career before getting slotted in as a Safety. Everyone's making judgement calls. I try to give the benefit of the doubt until it's no longer warranted.

Fun for me either way! :) Not my problem if Verlander wants to have an asterisk draft class.
