re: LSU recruit draft - fibonaccisquared
Uhhh... Generally decommits don't happen immediately in these cases. My guess is you guys hang on to most but literally nothing the kids told your staff today matters......
It isn't bert it is long that set up the non compete clause. Also it only counts in lateral moves. Must go up a step.
This. Solid move by Jeff Long. Kind of surprised we haven't seen it at other programs in the SEC yet. ...

re: Georgia fans - what is your opinion of HC Smart so far? - fibonaccisquared
But Smart was with Saban a long time, and Saban is absolutely coaching defense.
Fair enough. I don't keep up with Bama enough to know how involved Saban gets with the offensive side of the ball, or if there was any difference between early years and later years in that regard eithe...

re: Georgia fans - what is your opinion of HC Smart so far? - fibonaccisquared
I just think he made a mistake
Jury's still out for me. I just hope Chaney has a short leash. I think there's value to getting a guy with a ton of experience when Smart's history has been almost entirely on the defensive side of the ball. Additionally, as opposed to getting a young g...

re: Georgia fans - what is your opinion of HC Smart so far? - fibonaccisquared
Averaged 10 wins per year
What probably should have been said is that we have been an average 9-3 regular season team. Counting bowl games to get your average of 10 is a little silly as those games have come in pretty low quality bowl game matchups most of the last 5 years (would alm...

re: Georgia fans - what is your opinion of HC Smart so far? - fibonaccisquared
Richt Lost 4+ Regular season games in 2001, 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2013
This. Also known as 40% of seasons since our last SEC championship. Or slightly better than a coin flip. If you expand that to 3+ regular season games, it's 80% since 2005. There is/was a marked difference between...

re: Georgia fans - what is your opinion of HC Smart so far? - fibonaccisquared
Hopefully for me Smart doesn't have the same level of success against us
Obviously hoping it stays the course personally, but can appreciate the sentiment. :) Some of my best friends are Aubies so always a fun game. For all Richt's faults that was one game he seemed to have in contro...

re: Georgia fans - what is your opinion of HC Smart so far? - fibonaccisquared
way too early to tell
This. Happy with what I'm seeing from a development of team identity/character perspective, but there are also some glaring deficiencies that Smart seems unwilling to even try and "work around" for a season. We don't have starting tackles... we have 2 dudes who ...

Ugh. I had Clemson bolded and everything, then looked at their schedule and saw Louisville coming up... short week... talked myself into taking the points. Tuck Fech....

re: Paging OT Watch Wearing Brethren - fibonaccisquared
Back to the OP... this guy makes some pretty cool watches... not a fan of the "deal of the day" today, but just in case you are, $100 automatic with a miyota movement is not bad. [link=(http://www.aragonwatch.com/Aragon_Museum_Skeleton_p/a073brn.htm)]LINK[/link] "Open Heart" design not my favorite....

re: The Wing T is the best Offense in the land - fibonaccisquared
I'm pretty sure that offense has beaten UGA a time or two.
Since 2001... literally 2. One of which Richt had to outsmart himself to give them the chance. Though to be fair, they've had some successful offensive outings against us during that timeframe even in losses....
That's the best looking bezel I've ever seen on a Rolex.
Was just thinking the same. Sans the logo, that's a great looking Rolex... super retro. Check it out with a band... [link=(https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/watches/wrist-watches/rolex-stainless-steel-air-king-wristwatch-dom...
Yea, I don't like the rivets at all...they don't even match the finish of the case. If you're going to add detail do it right.
Yeah, that has largely colored my impression of the style I think, hah. Yours is a great looking watch. I also think it helps to have only the hours vs h...
Favorite / Point Spread / Underdog Clemson 9.5 GA Tech (Thursday night game)
Pains me to do this, but 9.5 is too many for a short week with Louisville on the horizon. Tech keeps it close enough. Will put rest in separate post....

re: Paging OT Watch Wearing Brethren - fibonaccisquared
With a black leather band that watch is perfectly dressy
Meh... maybe? I think I'm a bit clouded by the fact that you typically see the watch with the 2 rivets on both sides of the band which make it seem a lot more military/casual in nature (see the off band in the image below). Wit...

re: Kirby in a foul mood in practice this week... - fibonaccisquared
You mean like Dominick Sanders? Some coaches do a very good job of knowing what fits their system like Gary Pinkel and Charlie Strong, and those guys can generally do a very good job of developing talent, regardless of where you get it. I'm fine with focusing more on in-state guys, bu...

re: Paging OT Watch Wearing Brethren - fibonaccisquared
flieger
I'm a fan of this watch, but not really "dressy" so kinda depends on needs. Ultimately, a big part of the decision for you is do you want something unique that might not be recognizable (Laco, Tisell, Orient, etc.), something with a bit of a name to it (Citizen/Seiko), or ...

re: Paging OT Watch Wearing Brethren - fibonaccisquared
Kors might be one that falls under the Fossil umbrella actually... can't recall. If that's your thing, you're looking at fashion watches largely which is fine. No joke, check out TJ Maxx... often times have some great clearance watches and they restock weekly....

re: Paging OT Watch Wearing Brethren - fibonaccisquared
At the $200 range, I forgot about Tisell... Mostly using Miyota movement (citizen's manufactured movements sold wholesale)... some decent stuff but their Submariner clone is sold out until January I think: [link=(http://shop2.tisellkr.cafe24.com/)]LINK[/link]...
